Kiitan Akinniranye, known by her followers as Kiitan, is a Los Angeles-based travel and lifestyle blogger originally born in Nigeria and raised in Atlanta. Her career as an influencer began back in college when Kiitan launched a blog as a creative outlet to deal with stress while she studied for the MCAT.  Through sharing her personal hair journey, opening up about her skin insecurities and expressing her fears about medical school, Kiitan soon realized her creative outlet had become a positive space for young women to connect, which gave her the courage to pursue blogging full-time.

Today, Kiitan is the founder of headwrap company Atarah Avenue, which sources fabrics from local communities in Nigeria, and has successfully partnered with high-profile brands like Olay, Tresemmé, Ralph Lauren, and Calvin Klein. Through sharing the many facets of her life from fashion, to beauty, to travel, Kiitan inspires global audiences to fearlessly pursue their dreams.
